It was Bliss Fully's natural red lips set against smooth, dark skin that had drawn him to her, and the first time they kissed he felt all sorts of electrifying sensation radiating from his brain to his toes. Their bodies were all atingle. Lips entangled with lips, they were consumed by pleasures unspeakable. Every taste was sweeter than the one before.
Her head was filled with ecstasy, as his big hands caressed her shoulders. She gently touched his cheeks, and he bit her soft, cherry lips some more. His heart raced, galloping at full speed to a surreal place, where he wanted to spend eternity. Lost in the throes of carnality, he didn't feel when she pulled away, after he made that groan that came all the way from his guts and shattered the stillness of the night.
That was weeks ago. Now, he's in bed with Melan Choly, and he's miserable. She is quite the opposite of Bliss Fully. As Melan Choly embraces him he cringes, hoping that she would let him go and leave him alone. It has been like this for sometime, and he spends his days in wistful reveries reflecting on the joy that Bliss Fully gives.
daydreams
But Melan Choly, ever-present Melan Choly, would jolt him from his daydreams and remind him of her presence. For Melan Choly is very jealous; she too wants some attention. Misery is second nature to her, and misery loves company. She is with him morning, noon and night, annoying him, stifling him.
She is just pain, sapping all the substance of his being, leaving him to feed on bittersweet memories of what had been. Then, he was caught up on Bliss Fully's wings. Now, he's tormented and torn. He goes to a window, looks across the hills, and returns to the bed. On his back, with eyes closed, he sings this song:
"One day I was walking down the road/I saw you standing all alone/You smiled so sweetly/Whispered in my ear/But in a moment you were gone/You're so near/Yet so far/You're always in my heart/I've got you on my mind/In the moon, in the stars/In the light, in the dark/I see you everywhere/In the songs of the breeze/In the waves of the sea/I hear your voice every day."
Suddenly, there is a knock on the door. He leaps from the bed. Melan Choly grabs him and pulls him back. He pushes her aside as there is another knock. He dashes towards the door, turns the key once, and flies the door open. There, she is! Bliss Fully! In all her splendour! His heart jumps as he glances at her heaving bosom. She barely parts her lips, and his skin starts to twitch. He takes her hand and leads her to the bed. It is empty. Melan Choly is gone; Bliss Fully is back!
At least, for now.

Child Month
In the merry month of May
Let's consider the children each
day
They need our love and protection
Instead of our criticism and
rejection.
Please don't hurt the children
Try to love and cherish them
Parents, give them your time and
attention
Ensure that they get proper
education.
Don't subject them to child abuse
Their mistakes give you no excuse
Give them your counsel and advice
Reason with them and treat them
nice.
Don't use them to practise sex
abuse
Because they're too young to
refuse
Such actions will just wreck their
lives
And create abusive husbands and
impotent wives.
In this merry month of May
Let Child Month matter in every
way
Let's unite to protect our children
Let us always be there for them.

God is amazing
God is so amazing!
Look at the sea water as they are
waving,
Look at a baby that can't speak but
yet they are smiling,
Look at the trees as they begin
blooming,
Now at yourself and me and see
how we are shining,
Can you say that God is amazing?
Look at the lions as they roar,
Look at the spider (anancy) as they
make web near your door,
Look at the tiny ants as they creep
on the floor,
Look at the nights when we fall
asleep and soar...
yes God is so amazing!!
Amazing indeed!!!
