The following is a copy of my letter that was sent to the Air Jamaica In-flight service manager expressing my profound gratitude to the crew of Flight No. 015 on May 1, for the assistance rendered towards me, showing much care and concern, and also to commend them for doing a great job.
In spite of what anyone may say about Air Jamaica, that would never deter my wanting to travel with my national airline.
Please publish my letter.
Dear Sir:
I am writing this letter to express my gratitude, and to say a big 'thank you' for the assistance your flight crew rendered to me during my illness on Flight No. 015 from Kingston, Jamaica to JFK, New York on May 1, 2009.
voice of appreciation
If something had gone wrong, I would no doubt have made a complaint. Likewise, I think it is just as important for me to let my voice of appreciation be heard for the tremendous work done by the members of the crew. Diane and Jackie were extremely helpful, going above and beyond the call of duty. They did everything that could possibly be done to make me comfortable during my illness. I did not want this effort on the part of the crew to go unnoticed. I commend them greatly, and I do thank them for the level of care, professionalism and the manner in which they handled the situation.
You have truly earned my respect. Thanks a million. Keep up the good work. You can count on me as one woman who will be an advocate for Air Jamaica.
I am, etc.,
