LIME Jamaica rolls out new 'store on wheels'

LIME Jamaica has introduced a retail store on wheels, called the 'Lime-obile' - a retro-fitted Coaster bus.

LIME says the mobile store will be used mainly in rural areas allowing LIME to expand its reach into more communities with its products and services.

"When we launched our new brand we promised new thinking and fresh ideas and we're delivering on that promise with our latest retail innovation, the 'Lime-obile'," said Xesus Johnston, LIME's vice president consumer and SME sales.

Off the beaten track

"It's not possible to have a store in every community, but with the 'Lime-obile' we can actually take our services to the public, especially people in communities that are off the beaten track."

The 'Lime-obile' is outfitted with a product display area and a service counter with computers that access the internet via LIME's GRPS mobile network.

Customers will be able to pay bills, make queries, buy products and sign up for LIME's services, the company said.
