PORTMORE UNITED need at least five points to retain their Premier League title and stand a good chance of taking three from fifth-place Arnett Gardens this evening - that's if their record against the Junglists this season hold true when the two meet at Ferdie Neita Park, starting at 7.

The defending champs have scored four unanswered Premier League goals against Arnett in three meetings, the last being a 2-0 victory at the Tony Spaulding Sports Complex.

One of two late top-six kick-offs, the Portmore-Arnett matchup starts simultaneously with third-place Harbour View hosting Waterhouse at Compound.

Third time

Second-place Tivoli, eight behind Portmore, face Boys' Town for the third time in 10 days, awaiting the Red Brigade who they thumped 4-0 at Collie Smith Drive last Wednesday.

Tivoli are hoping Portmore stumble, which the champs have shown no sign of doing, beating Waterhouse 2-0 at Ferdie Neita Park on Sunday, their 13th match without a loss.

For Tivoli to catch Portmore, the Railway men would have to win their next three and hope the defending champions lose three-in-a-row, which has not happened for the entire season.

"We've to keep winning our remaining games. We're not pressured. We just have to keep winning," Tivoli's coach, Lenny Hyde, said on Sunday after his team beat slumping Harbour View 2-0 at the Edward Seaga Complex.

Winning alone won't help Tivoli, Arnett will have to produce something special against Portmore whose arsenal of attacking players seem endless with Steven Morrissey notching two goals in his last three games.

Arnett are yet to find a way around Linval Dixon's team, which has conceded the least number of goals this season, led by strongman Anthony Modeste in defence.

Newton Sterling got three of Arnett's goals in their last two games, including a double in a 3-2 win against Boys' Town on Sunday and will be looking to put one across Portmore, who kept him confined to the bench last season.

It's hard to consider Tivoli losing to Boys' Town, who have conceded seven goals in their last two Premiership games, obviously gone awry since beating Tivoli 3-0 in last Sunday's Flow Champions Cup final.

Tivoli's Navion Boyd has been a terror to all defenders this season, playing wide on the right side whereas Roland Dean has been a predator, who rarely misses a chance.
