Small talk won't benefit PNP
The Editor, Sir:

As I watch the news and listen to some call-in programmes, I wonder if this present PNP Opposition is opposing only for opposing sake. To single out mainly salt as poor people's food is ridiculous. As the PNP contemplates their next move in questioning the merits or demerits of the Budget presentation, giving us some base, small talk about caring for the poor won't work. This might work at election time, not now, the people are too focused on weathering this economic storm.

I am etc.,
