Zachary Harding joins Appliance Traders Ltd

Zachary Harding will take up his position as Chief Executive Officer of appliance dealer, Appliance Traders Limited (ATL) on Monday. Harding, who is known for his marketing savvy, joins ATL after two years of public service, his most recent post being deputy director of tourism at the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB).

"Zachary is joining ATL at a very critical point when we are reshaping the organisation's image, streamlining our operations and turning up the heat on service to our customers. We are excited to have one of Jamaica's most talented young minds on board," said Chris Zacca, deputy chairman of the ATL Group of Companies.

A marketing moverand shaker

Prior to his JTB position, Harding developed a reputation as a marketing mover and shaker within the country's business community holding leadership positions at Grace Kennedy, Diageo and Wysinco where he was director of marketing from 2004 to 2007.

Credited for initiatives such as repositioning and expanding brands such as Wata, Coca-Cola, Ocean Spray and Bigga, Harding is eager to hit the ground at ATL.

"I'm humbled by the opportunity and honoured to be able to lead such an outstanding team of employees at one of Jamaica's most iconic companies," Harding said.

Gordon 'Butch' Stewart, chairman of ATL, added his support to the appointment.

"I welcome Zachary to the ATL team at this time when we are placing even more emphasis on the type of unparalleled service which has consistently been our main focus, for over 40 years."
