Suriname bans pigs, pork imports
Suriname (CMC):

The Suriname government on Monday announced a ban on the importation of pigs and pork, in response to the outbreak of swine flu, which has been blamed for the deaths of around 150 people in Mexico and infected thousands more.

According to a press release of the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, all importation of animals, raw pork meat and semen are prohibited.
