The Lions Club of Mandeville staged its 10th annual Men Who Cook fund-raiser at Alpart Farms in Manchester on Sunday. It was a filled with fun for the entire family. Top three favourite men who cooked this year were Dr Chris Tufton, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries; Evol 'Blackie' Christian of Little Ochi; and Winston Lawson of National Commercial Bank, Mandeville, respectively.

Shopping the fun!
1. The husband cleared off the gold card and sent his missus off to Miami to shop for the Easter holidays. But while she was away, he was having himself a whale of a time with the other lady. Friends say she is still basking in the wonderful memories created while the cat was blowing the dollars away. The husband declared it was money well spent.
Happy for the help
2. Neighbours are stunned to find out that the older doting husband does not mind at all that the cute Chinese has been visiting his home on a regular basis. After all, he has a young attractive wife and he wants her to be happy. So, when people started dropping a few hints, he made it clear that he welcomes the help. Some things are stranger than fiction.
Assets for sale
3.Changes are coming to the gasolene retailing community soon as one of its number is said to be seeking to sell off his assets and head overseas. But with the hike in gas, there may be few takers at this time.
Wandering eyes
4. What kind of stupid wife decides to move overseas and leave her husband here on the rock? Her intentions were noble because she saw this as a way to earn some money to see the children through school, but she always knew her husband had wandering eyes. So why is she so shocked to learn of the pregnancy?
