No charges yet for Fray
Cabinet yesterday received a report on the security breaches at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St James, which led to the attempted hijacking of CanJet Flight 918.

Up to last night, however, no information was revealed to the media as to what were the contents of reports made to Transport Minister Mike Henry by the Port Security Corps, the Civil Aviation Authority and Airports Authority of Jamaica.

Henry said information will be provided to the media during a post-Cabinet press briefing later this week.

Still being interrogated

Meanwhile, 21-year-old Stephen Fray, the would-be hijacker, was up to late last night still being interrogated, in the presence of his lawyers, by investigators in Montego Bay. Among his attorneys is noted Montego Bay lawyer Nathan Robb.

Sources close to the investigation say Fray is likely to be charged with robbery with aggravation, illegal possession of a firearm, breaches of the Civil Aviation Act, and shooting with intent.

He is expected to be charged by Monday.
