BASEBALL team, the Minnesota Twins, has found inspiration in the Bob Marley classic, Three Little Birds. The team said the song is responsible for their mini winning streak.
The 'Twins' racked up three straight victories in the American League since they started playing Three Little Birds in the team clubhouse, team officials and players said.
Following Sunday's victory over the Los Angeles Angels, right field Michael Cuddyer said the team is considering adopting the ballad as its theme song.
"I think we might just go with it," Cuddyer said following the 3-1 win.
After getting blown out in three of four games against the Toronto Blue Jays, Twins manager Ron Gardenhire urged the club to remain positive.
The players followed his advice and listened to the lyrics of Three Little Birds. They found solace in the lines, "Don't worry about a thing. 'Cause every little thing is gonna be all right".
"We've got a nice little song going in there," Gardenhire said. "These last three ball games, the last two especially, we've played good baseball."
