Jamaica gospel finalists selected

Ten songs have been selected for the 2009 Jamaica Gospel Song Competition finals organised by the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC).

Heidi Leith, JCDC gospel specialist, said that "a compilation album featuring the 10 songs is set to be released in May and the finalists will tour the island throughout the months of June and July".

The 2008 gospel winner, Rohan Clarke, won $500,000 and a recording contract.

Wherever I Go by Nickette Morgan - St Catherine

You Are by Tobi Maxwell and Gilthiesa Smith - Manchester

Buss Out by Leo Lewis - St Catherine
