Reno, Village tie
Cellar teams Reno and Village United stretched the suspense of relegation by playing to an unexciting 0-0 finish in their Digicel Premier League matchup at Frome yesterday.

Reno failed to convert several of the chances that were created. They had most of the play in the first half, but the run of play changed sides to Village for most of the second half.

"We know that Reno would be a tough challenge at Frome but we were hunting nothing less than a win," said Cassman Williams, who recently began coaching the Village team. "Goalscoring is a major concern and we will be working on that to get some wins."

Reno's technical director, Wendell Downswell, said much of the same.

"We still have a problem finishing," Downswell said. "The structure of the team will remain because it is a good one, it's just that the players need to rise to the occasion."

Reno have 25 points and Village 23.
