A second-half brace from substitute Kevin 'Pele' Wilson, carried Arnett Gardens to an easy 3-0 victory over hosts Meadhaven United in their Digicel Premier League (DPL) match at the Constant Spring Sports Complex yesterday.

Wilson scored in the 63rd and 89th minutes, propelling Arnett to their 10th victory of the season and 40 points in mid-table.

Newton Sterling was the other scorer for the 'Junglists' in the 81st minute.

Top six

Fabian Davis, player/coach of Arnett Gardens, said: "Our aim and our goal is to finish in the top six and we are working towards this and I think that these three points today are pretty good for us.

"The team effort was pretty good because we were able to settle down in the second half of the match and this enabled us to score these three goals," Davis said.

Meanwhile, a last-minute goal by Sporting Central Academy's Levaughn Williams dented Boys' Town's title hopes in a 1-1 draw at Brancourt. Renae Lloyd had scored for Boys' Town at the 75th minute. Boys' Town now have 51 points, while Sporting are on 31.

Paul Murray scored in the 88th minute for Rivoli to beat St Georges 1-0 at Spanish Town Prison Oval. Rivoli moved to 34 points, while St Georges stayed on 39 points.
