Hyde - File
Coach of Tivoli Gardens, Lenworth Hyde Sr., said that his team is ready to challenge west Kingston neighbours Boys' Town in the final of the all-island Flow Champions Cup KO tournament.
The final will take place on Sunday, April 26.
The Tivoli coach see the Boys' Town clash as "another tough game" but noted that his players are looking forward to that match.
"Boys' Town is playing good football and they have a very good coach and we just have to go home and prepare for them," said Hyde.
"We are playing good football also, so it's going to be a tough game for us and it's going to be a good game and I'm asking all the spectators to come out."
All-important goal
Tivoli's secured their place in the final in the second of Sunday night's semi-finals at Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex, with Oraine Simpson scoring the all-important goal in the 20th minute after he lobbed an advancing goalie Richard McCullum, to hand his team a 1-0 win over Waterhouse and Hyde said the finals match-up will be a 'nice game'.
"Two west Kingston teams (in the final), so it will be a nice game to come to," stated Hyde, who had won premier league titles with both clubs as a player.
Tivoli. however, will have attacking worries when they meet Boys' Town as the their forward, Navion Boyd, was sent off in the 85th minute of their semi-final game and will miss the final.
Boys' Town had earlier drubbed Rivoli United 4-0 and are expected to give the Tivoli defence, marshalled by Kasai Hinds and Dwight Heron, a fair deal of trouble.
Losing semi-finalists, Waterhouse and Rivoli, will play-off for third on the same day of the final.
