The following are feedback letters to our very popular feature Roving with Lalah, which now appears on Tuesdays.
Dear Robert,
First of all, it is very refreshing to read about the lighter side of life here in Ja. There are so many Jamaicans who will make you laugh, just by being around them. It's typical that amid hardships, we tend to be able to just live.
Second, by 'roving' around you are able to capture real Jamaica: the spooky, the silly antics of grown men, and so far even the very obeah man, all generally are friendly and warm. That is the very essence of who we are! Thank you for your column, I have been looking for something sensible to read for a long time. Keep roving!

Dear Robert,
I loved your article on Cross Keys, but I don't think you were informed on just how it got its name, so allow me. Remember that exhilarating view? It is said that from there you can look 'across the quays' in Clarendon. Get it? Hence, someone who clearly spoke Patois, and could not spell 'quays' put their own spin on the words across (cross) and quays (keys) and named the place Cross Keys. Selah!

Dear Robert,
Cute. Loved this one!
