The Norwegian Seafood Export Council is delighted to be associated as a sponsor of the upcoming Daybreak Soca Fete, to be held this Easter Sunday, April 12 at the Coyaba Gardens in Ocho Rios, St Ann.
Debe Chen of Ryde Entertainment, promoter of the all-inclusive soca fete and third-place winner in the recent Seafood from Norway Culinary Challenge, promises patrons an unforgettable menu to accompany what is anticipated to be a charged soca experience.
"Not only are we delivering the carnival festivities via the musical mastery of the Renaissance sound, but an exciting menu that will be sure to please."
Among the highlights of the Daybreak menu is use of the Norwegian salt fish prepared in innovative and non-traditional ways. This includes the popular Trinidadian favourites, Buljol (pickup salt fish) and bake served with fried saltfish. Other items include salt fish lasagne, salt fish and ackee casserole and salt fish fritters.
