Second-place Harbour View hope to keep pressure on leaders Portmore United but face a tough assignment, albeit at home, against fourth-place Tivoli Gardens, in the Digicel Premier League (DPL) at 7 p.m. this evening.

The DPL front-runners, defending champions Portmore United, are also expected to have their hands full when they travel to Drewsland Mini Stadium, where they face former coach Paul Young and a sturdy Waterhouse outfit, at 6 p.m.

Distracting weeks

Leading the league on goal difference up to one round ago, the Stars of the East have had a distracting couple of weeks.

The outfit have not only lost the services of Brazilian coach Waldermar de Olivera, but have also had to cope with the passing of long-time president Sydney Masters.

"It's been a tough couple of weeks but we can't afford distractions, we have to keep going forward, life goes on and we have to keep our concentration," said Harbour View coach Donovan Hayles.

Upfront the Stars of the East will also be missing some firepower as striker Kavin Bryan is away on loan at Norwegian club Nottenden FC.

The outfit will, however, be boosted by the availability of former youth national player Akeem Priestley, who recently finished college in the United States.
