This week, it's all about the little things that are hot in the techno world. Perhaps you want to buy a friend an inexpensive gift that expresses your appreciation. Or, perhaps you just want to pamper yourself.
1. Leather DS case
At first, I thought this case was for the Nintendo DS, but it's actually for the games and the stylus. The cool thing is that it can also hold Game Boy Advance games.
It has a really expensive look to it. The leather, exterior has an embedded DS logo and the interior is lined with suede. Some women may even want to carry it around as a purse.
Something extra: I am assuming you already have a DS, because everybody should know that the DS is also for adults. There are some great games out there, specifically for you grown-up 'adults' such as Brain Age 2 and Jam Sessions.
2. Phone charms

This is one of those accessories that you can lavish your girlfriend with as an I-am-thinking-of-you-gift. It comes in many different colours, so you pick one that works well with a cellphone.
What makes this unique is the dangling attachment. It adds style without looking childish.
Something extra: A great phone to pair this item with is the Nokia 5310, or any other mobile that's jazzed up with bold colours.
3. PS Skinz controller

An item like this is for a hardcore gamer. Let's face it: Very few adults have the time to dedicate to a console as serious as PS3. With games like Brothers in Arms, this is no joking matter - we are talking about three to four hours a day!
Nonetheless, if you are fortunate to know a friend who is a video-game junkie, he or she will be thrilled to pal around with you.
Something extra: While you're at it, try grabbing Street Fighter 4. It's new and improved but still has a nostalgic feel to it.
4. Mini flash drive

Every device is shrinking nowadays, and I do mean everything. Do you remember the size of a diskette? Now there's the mini flash drive. It's the size of a SIM card and has the capacity to hold far more than a diskette could ever dream.
It's ideal for persons who are always storing electronic information such as Word or Excel documents.
Something extra: If you have friends or family going to school, this would be a super present to get all of them.
