LETTER OF THE DAY - An odd situation for Jamaica's democracy
The Editor, Sir: The debate on dual citizenship continues where, oddly enough, under the present system many can be electors for Parliament but cannot themselves be elected due to their dual citizenship. This aberration adds to the call for a review of the Jamaica Constitution.

A backward education system
The Editor, Sir: Peter Espeut's article 'Elitist Education' (March 20) is right on the button. He has put into words all my thoughts on this backward education system that our children have to endure. If you are in the system, you will experience, first-hand, the atrocities that are heaped on our children daily.
