Free first-rate leadership training for Jamaicans
The call for effective leadership at various levels in Jamaica is being answered by the Centre for Leadership as it hosts a free EQUIP training seminar in Jamaica. The EQUIP programme developed by world-renowned leadership trainer, Dr John Maxwell, has successfully taught thousands of persons across the globe the rudiments of critical leadership for the times.

Political, social and religious leaders have pursued the prestigious EQUIP programme, which is usually a paid course that only a select few could access.

Centre for Leadership, as part of its commitment to provide training at the highest levels locally, will present the John Maxwell Equip Book 2, free of cost to Jamaicans. The sessions will be held at Fellowship Tabernacle on Friday, March 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on March 28 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and at Kencot Christian Fellowship on Sunday, March 29 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The North Carolina-based Bishop Andre Thomas, who is also the regional Caribbean representative for John Maxwell EQUIP programme, will visit in Jamaica especially for the event.

Critical leadership skills

Bishop Thomas has presented the Maxwell model throughout the Caribbean and hundreds of new leaders have emerged spanning various fields.

Persons attending the seminar will be exposed to critical leadership skills that they will be able to apply to their homes, communities and essentially the society.

Centre for Leadership was launched late last year to provide and facilitate leadership training and professional seminar services.
