Jamaican women are strong and, with limited funding, have continued to be the background of our nation by selling items as small as sweets at school gates to running successful large businesses. Our work in business has significantly contributed to the education of our children and increasing the wealth of our country.
In light of their contribution, CAFRA Jamaica is calling on the Government to take this into account in ensuring that loans be provided as venture capital to help women start new business operations or to improve on existing operations.
