With a by-election afoot, the Opposition People's National Party's (PNP) chief cheerleader and scaremonger, Roger Clarke, is at it again.
This time, he has found the issue of imported inexpensive fertiliser being laced with processed human faecal matter as a seemingly scare tactic to score cheap political points.
While I expect, and do want the opposition party at all times to keep a check on and monitor the works of the Government in the interest of the people of Jamaica, Clarke's approach is not the best way to go. Surely, seeking to ensure that the fertiliser is safe for use by our farmers is most appropriate.
However, trying merely to act upon the fears of the people is most disingenuous.
