Dr Carol Carter (right), a Chicago-based Jamaican, is helping to bring the 2016 Olympics to President Obama's hometown. She was joined by her Chilean friend Claudia Lopez in extending best wishes to Stuart Owen Rankin, grandson of four-time 1936 Olympic gold medalist, Jesse Owens, during his recent departure from Chicago's International Airport, en route to deliver the city's bid book to the International Olympic Committee in Switzerland. Chicago, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro and Madrid are the four candidate cities bidding to host the Summer Olympic Games in 2016. - Contributed
