Christie's reply unhelpful

Christie

THE EDITOR, Sir:

Re: Greg Christie and the Hamilton/Rousseau issue.

What a whole heap of "worda-ciousness and spokaciousness" about nothing. I have never been so "obfuscated" in my entire life.

Rather than writing a concise and clear article regarding the Hamilton/Rousseau discourse, Christie elected to take the linguistic scenic route, giving us the benefit of his vast and varied vocabulary. While I'm sure many were impressed, others, like myself, simply got bored with the article and went on to read the obituaries column.

I daresay there were some valid points in his article, somewhere.

Whatever happened to 'keep it simple'? Indeed, I suspect Christie may have even 'obfuscated' himself.

I am, etc.,
