Up in arms!

1. Some members of the profession are still up in arms about the way their organisation was painted recently and are calling for a laying down of arms.

Floating debts

2. The call for an investigation has left some laughing, as it is widely known that the money is owed and that there are several other outstanding debts floating around out there with creditors left holding the bag.

No cash coming

3. Some are now convinced that the recent release of documents in cyberspace has made only too clear that there will be no funds coming in the near future, as they now say it is clear to them that their deposits were used to fund politicians, private jets, gambling sprees and lavish lifestyles.

Target payola

4. Now that the Broadcasting Commission has found its teeth, people are saying that there should be in-house cleaning to get rid of payola.

Still in the limelight

5. Members in the organisation have grown tired of the publicity hound who, they say, goes to every length to steal the limelight at every given opportunity, to the point of being crass, but took the tacky behaviour to a new low recently when he completely usurped the authority of the chair, to hand out some suspicious awards.

Mounting fears

6. Fear of charges of money laundering has caused many to be putting some distance between themselves and the fallen one, as many now fear, with private documents being made public, the United States Treasury could open its own investigation.

Who is in charge?

7. Why are there so many differing views being put forward by all and sundry? Can someone step up to the plate and not only bat, but take charge?

No surprise

8. Political historians are asking why people are surprised by the garrulous outburst and further calls for the banning of organisations. They say the organisation to which the one making the calls belongs has a history of not just banning organisations, but books, as well as issuing of deportation and stop orders on those whose views differ from theirs.
