Her Majesty, Queen Sofia arrives at Holy Trinity Cathedral on North Street in Kingston yesterday. The King and Queen leave the island today.

Spain's Queen Sofia chose a pale green suit for her morning visit to the restoration project taking place at Holy Trinity Cathedral in Central Kingston and later to the Spanish Town Hospital in St Catherine where the new wing was named in the King's honour. She accessorised with matching pumps trimmed with light cinnamon. A dragonfly pin perched on one shoulder.


Dr Patrick Allen, governor general-designate, surrounded by students of Northern Caribbean University after he was conferred with the university's highest honorary degree, the Doctor of Public Service, for his unwavering commitment to national development and public service.
