LONDON, England (CMC):

Jamaican midfielder Omar Daley hit one of two Bradford City goals, as they collected a valuable away 2-0 win over Gillingham FC in the English League Two on Saturday.

Daley scored on the stroke of half-time and Michael Boulding added the insurance goal in the 70th minute at KRBS Priestfield Stadium, as Bradford picked up their first away points against a side in the top seven.

The result pushed Bradford into joint fourth on points in the League Two table - with Rochdale - on 48 points, trailing leaders Wycombe (53), Brentford (52) and Bury (50).

Daley pressured Gillingham throughout the first half before being rewarded with his goal.

He had a few opportunities and failed to convert a one-on-one from a tight angle before finally hitting the target.

Set up by a surging move from Boulding, Daley scored - his third league goal of the season - just before the half-time whistle.

Boulding netted his 11th goal of the season in the 20 minutes before the end, after collecting a good pass from Steve Jones.

Canada's Jamaica-born forward Simeon Jackson, Gillingham's leading scorer, thought he had given his side the advantage in the 30th minute, but his strike was ruled out for offside.

Gillingham also gave the Barbados international Mark McCammon some playing time in the 65th minute when he replaced Garry Richards.
