Both the Pick-9 and Super-6 start anew at Caymanas Park tomorrow and with fair-size rather than large fields being the order of the day, the Pick-9 should fall victim once again.

It will embrace races two to 10, while the Super-6 will be conducted from race five to 10. We look at the Super-6 which gets under way with a restricted allowance race for native and imported three-year-olds over 1100 metres for the Pansy Thompson Trophy CTL 'Employee of the Quarter' race over 1100 metres to be contested by eight starters.

Hat-trick seeker

They include hat-trick seeker GIVEITTOMEBABY with five-time champion jockey Trevor Simpson riding for trainer Richard Azan, HURRICANE JUSTICE (Lasix on) under champion jockey Omar Walker, and the lightly raced BABY JAZZ with in-form Dane Nelson up.

GIVEITTOMEBABY scored back-to-back runaway wins over the distance in recent months, clocking the smart time of 1:06.3 on January 10. She thus gets the nod over Anthony Nunes-trained BABY JAZZ, an American bred filly who showed promise on her recent debut behind STREET SMART ANNIE.

Simpson and Azan should also team up to win the sixth race for native bred three-year-olds over 1400 metres with MEELO, who beat all barring PROGRESSIVE over 1200 metres on November 26 and has looked real sharp at exercise since. JUNGLE QUEEN (Walker up) looks his principal danger.

Fight for finish

Briefly, recent winner QUEEN OF MY HEART and down-in-class ISLA should fight out the finish of the seventh race (high claiming) over 1400 metres, while the Wayne DaCosta-trained GOOD HOPE, who has tumbled down the claiming ladder, is preferred to FIRE D TRAINER in the eighth race over 1200 metres for $180,000 claimers.

Then, take the fleet-footed filly TWENTYFIRSTOFJUNE to stave off the very fit FIRST LADY in the ninth race over 1100 metres for the Howard Phillipps Memorial Cup, before closing the programme with Walker's mount THE GUARDIAN (working well) in the nightpan.
