Barbados look to rebound
BRIDGETOWN (CMC):

Barbados will seek to take out their frustration on Guyana, after their bad loss to Jamaica in the last round of matches, when their fifth-round WICB regional four-day match starts today.

They entered the Jamaica fixture on the heels of impressive innings victories over the Windwards and Leewards, but left Kingston without a point after losing by six wickets to the table leaders.

They will be without the injured fast bowler Tino Best for this encounter at the Windward Cricket Club in the eastern parish of St Philip, but welcome back rookie pacer Kemar Roach who missed the last game.

Ragged Guyana will look to haul themselves off the bottom of the tables.

Guyana have garnered just four points in this year's campaign, having lost all three of their matches to date.

Two other fifth-round matches will start today. The Windward Islands and Leeward Islands will meet in St Lucia while Trinidad and Tobago host Combined Campuses and Colleges (CCC).

The points standings after four rounds are Jamaica 42, Barbados 27, Windwards 24, Trinidad and Tobago 21, Leewards 16, CCC 12 and Guyana four.
