Kidnapped boy back home safely

A Manchester schoolboy who was kidnapped in Mandeville earlier this week has been returned to his family.

The police have not revealed the details of the incident but confirmed that the boy was found in Clarendon.

It's reported that the boy was returned to his family after a ransom was paid over to the kidnappers.

Police probing

In the meantime, the head of the Major Investigation Task Force, Assistant Commissioner Les Green, says the police are probing the alleged kidnap.

The year 2008 ended with heightened concern about the safety of children after several of them were abducted and murdered.

Fourteen-year-old Jhaneel Goulbourne from Harbour View, St Andrew, has not been seen since she was abducted from her gate on the night of October 24.
