Over-inflated egos
The Editor, Sir:

Both the leaders of the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) and the Opposition People's National Party (PNP) have to stop the personality playhouse and take time out to realise that this country is being blighted to the point where it could become a tinderbox.

Can we as a country take a page out of President Barack Obama's book and put the Jamaican people and Jamaica first?

No time to cast blame

When an election is over, it is time to govern, not time to play politics with the lives of the people and their communities. Jamaica has too many people playing politics and too many members of parliament with over-inflated egos.

We need to find the solutions to our crime and economic problems. This is not the time to cast blame. It is time for both parties to utilise the most skilled in their midst to get the country back on track.

Let's all work together to build a better Jamaica. This is not PNP or JLP country, this is Jamaica for Jamaicans.

I am, etc.,
