Captain's tourney
The Constant Spring Golf and Racquets Club will host the Captain's Tournament and Drive in on Sunday.

The golf tournament, a two-ball better-ball with full handicap, will be followed by a viewing of the battle royal between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII.

Participants in the competition will be charged an entry fee of $2,000 and will include admission to the Super Bowl party.

The tournament is expected to tee off at 7 a.m. and will continue to 1:30 p.m. The Captains Drive-in, which will signify the appointment of new golf club captain, Tony Gooden, is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.

According to Gooden, the tournament is seeking to raise funds to install a generator at the club.

"We have sourced the generator that will cost $500,000, but we do not have the funds to install it," Gooden said.
