Yet again, we are being side-tracked with inane fluff. This time, it is about the condition of the prime minister's official motor car.

I would like to remind the Jamaican people that there are several cars - 37 BMW 5 series, in fact - that were donated by BMW for the hosting of the ICC Cricket World Cup (CWC) in 2007, with the requirement that the cars be sold after the event.

Apparently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs purchased 20 of them; the other 17 should easily be accounted for.

Perhaps, the PM should try to obtain one of the cars already owned by the Government and get back post-haste to the business of governing this country properly. His current vehicle is in far better shape than this country!
