Sylvester Campbell, coach of defending champions Tivoli Gardens 'A', is confident his team will retain their Jamaica Netball Association/Jamaica National Building Society Open League title.

"I am confident that we can retain our title," Campbell said. "However, I believe that any one of the top three teams, including us, Waulgrovians and Jamalco, can win and so we have to make sure we play our 'A' game on that day."

Unbeaten so far this season, the west Kingston team booked their place in the quarter-finals with a big 49-24 win over Police 'A' on Saturday at the Leila Robinson Courts.

"We are peaking at the right time because things are going according to plan," said Campbell. "I am satisfied with how our girls are playing because everybody is giving their best."

Super League champions Jamalco also secured their spot in the quarter-finals with an impressive 33-11 victory.

They are joined by Waulgrovians, who thrashed Alexander Strikers 'A' 38-15, Jetsetters 'A', Port Esquivel, Windalco and Arnett Gardens.

The final spot will be decided on Saturday at the same venue, when Speg 'A' oppose Blades United 'A'.

The runners-up in each group will contest the consolation knockout competition.

In the day's other games, New Kingston Raiders beat Duhaney Park Strikers 'A' 23-9, Skibo 'C' stopped Upper Camp 22-19, Alpha defeated Alexander Strikers 'B' 28-15, Correctional Services got by Hagley Park 'A' 22-16.

Meanwhile, Speg 'A' eased past Rollington Town 36-11, Police 'B' outclassed Molynes United 'C' 25-5, Bridgeport overpowered Eden Strikers 17-7, Ravens 'A' whipped Red Challenge 30-6, Ebony Strikers thrashed G. C. Foster College 31-7
