Tickets for the first Test match between the West Indies and England, which will be played February 4-8 at Sabina Park, went on sale on Tuesday.

The tickets, which range in price from $700 to $2,100, are available at the match venue and will continue to be available until the end of the Test, which will officially signal the start of the international matches for the tour.

The Englishmen - who are coming off an away series defeat to India, and a captain-coach controv-ersy, which ended in the resignation of former skipper, Kevin Pietersen, and the sacking of former coach, Peter Moores - will arrive in the Caribbean next Wednesday.

They will open their tour with two three-day matches. The first is against St Kitts and Nevis, starting on Sunday, January 25.

The second and final warm-up match starts on Thursday, January 29, against West Indies A. Both games will be played at Warner Park in St Kitts.

England, who are ranked number five in the world behind Australia, South Africa, India and Sri Lanka, are scheduled to play four Tests, five one-day internationals (ODI) and one Twenty20 international during their just over two-month tour of the region.

The second, third and fourth Tests will be played in Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago, respectively, while Guyana and Barbados will host two of the ODIs, and St Lucia the fifth and final.

The lone Twenty20 international will be played in Trinidad and Tobago.
