Prime Minister David Thompson said while the perception may exist of a slowing down of the regional integration movement, this is certainly not the case.
In fact, he said the 15-member Caribbean Community was preparing to embark on a "tight" four-day schedule of meetings in Barbados in late January, with a view to taking forward the regional agenda.
Among the meetings planned is a special consultation on the CARICOM Single Market and Economy on January 30.
