Portmore still lead

Defending champions Portmore United still lead the standings in the Digicel Premier League following a goalless away draw against Geoffrey Maxwell's fifth-place St Georges Sports Club (30 points) at Lynch Park, Buff Bay, yesterday.

The draw inched Portmore up to 38 points, one more than Harbour View, who rebounded from Sunday's loss with a 2-1 away win at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex.

Marcelino Blackburn (52nd) and Jermaine Hue (89th) scored for Harbour View.

"We continue to play the same game," noted Waldemar De Oliveira, the Stars of the East's technical director, who is Brazilian. "We win games every day and we'll do it step by step. We'll continue to play nice football."

Arnett, who had a three-game win streak snapped, had taken the lead at the third minute through Leon Strickland.

The Junglists remain seventh on 21 points.
