RUMOURS HAVE have been going around that the Infiniti arm of Nissan will add two more doors to the Skyline GT-R; this will increase the wheel base and making the car a more comfortable ride. The GT-R twin turbo 3.8-litre V6 will be tossed aside for the FX-5.0-litre V8 hooked up to the same all-wheel-drive system found on the GT-R, and the rear mounted twin clutch gearbox used in the GT-R. Power output of this car is estimated to be 420hp and can sprint to 60mph in five seconds and have a top speed of 170mph. This four-door GT-R should be able to keep pace with the BMW M5 and M-B E63.
Police Edition Evolution X
The London police have launched their police edition of the EVO Lancer X, which is painted in the colours of the London Metro Police. It's really an EVO X with a police light bar on top, with the same 2.0-litre four-cylinder 16-valve DOHC MIVEC 300hp engine. Traction is provided with the super all-wheel control AWD used with the twin clutch sport shift transmission. With this amount of power the car should be able to keep up with the bad guys. What if Doug Gore ever became a cop? The bad guys would never get away.

Volvo Hybrid by 2012
The Swedish car brand, Volvo, has now gone green, by 2012 Volvo will have a hybrid in it line- up. The hybrids will be sold in the United States and Europe, and in 2009 all their models will have start-stop technology. What the start-stop technology does is to turn off the engine when idle like at stoplights, which reduces emissions and fuel consumption. This is a feature that is becoming available in the economy cars of Europe, but has not yet been introduced in the US. Models like the C30, S40 and V50 will get this technology. The diesel hybrid will appear in the larger sedans and SUVs. Sorry we don't have the dealership here anymore.

24 hours of Le Mans BMW M3
BMW M3
BMW have its eyes set in competing in the 24 hours of Le Mans endurance race. They are hoping in getting its latest M3 certified by the FIA in time for a showdown to do battle with the Corvette and others in Le Mans GT racing, a new set of rules will govern the class in 2010. BMW now needs to work with the FIA to get its racer properly sanctioned and approved, as it has already done for the American Le Mans racing series. So it will be the brute strength and low-down grunt of the American muscle versus the high-revving finesse of the Germans. Does this remind us of the battle with the Ferrari and Ford in the 1960s?
