Peter Tosh was certainly prophetic when he made the oft repeated statement, "Everyone is crying out for peace, none is crying out for justice."

It seems as though the international system, built on a Eurocentric and Israel-affirming platform, will never find the cojones to get Israel to stop its illegal, immoral and bastardly actions in Gaza.

Not ever wanting to be accused of being a supporter of evil governments in the world, I must note the level of restraint in the position of the editorial teams comments on Israel in comparison to Zimbabwe.

One has committed and continues to commit acts of war and gross violations of human rights, while another has severe internal governance issues. I would posit that the level of rhetoric re Israel needs to match, at the very least, or I dare say, exceed, that which is being spewed re Zimbabwe.
