Roy Pryce, coach of Molynes United, said he was thankful for the victory.
"I am satisfied with the victory, but I am not pleased with how we played today. I think we were very inconsistent," he said. "We played well in the first half but during the second period the players were very indisciplined in their execution on the court."
Pryce added, "I think there is still a lot of work to be done and we have to go back to the drawing board and look at what we did wrong and try to correct it for the rest of the season."
Angilisa Chambers, captain of the JDF said, "I think we tried our best and we played extremely hard. They are a much stronger team than us, but I think that we did well."
