In the final played at York Oval last Sunday, Prospect, the first non-Major League team to be crowned champions, defeated Delta Force 1-0 to book their spot in the all-island COK Knockout championship.
After a action-packed first half by Prospect, which saw them dominating the offensive third, the game's lone goal did not come until after 51 minutes of play.
It was a well-taken shot by the Rayon Gayle, which separated the teams.
In the presentation that followed, Prospect Sports Club received the James Robertson trophy and $40,000 while Delta Force, Springrain and Bath United received $20,000, $15,000 and $10,000 for second, third and fourth place, respectively.
