Even before patrons entered the steep driveway leading up to Dream Castle Villas in Ironshore, Montego Bay, the techno music that blasted from the venue indicated a lively vibe getting them in the mood for a real do!
With over 200 guests, many of them being prominent movers and shakers from both ends of the island, great entertainment and delicious food, the Christmas party hosted by Lachu Ramchandani in appreciation of members of the Monday Club was a lovely affair.
The Monday Club is an exclusive fraternity of Montego Bay businessmen who gather for regularly scheduled meetings. During the Yuletide season, however, the club relaxed the rules and wives and friends were invited to a celebration to bring the year to a close. And with Ramchandani and Dream Castle's Gwendolyn Williams at the helm, they pulled out all the stops.
There was a festive feast and entertainment by former Rising Stars finalist Suzanne Perkins who thrilled the audience with a number of hits. The sensational Shawn Campbell also mesmerised the crowd and later on, she got some help from Marcus Stewart.
We spotted: Senator Noel Sloley, Pishu Chandiram, Denny Chandiram and his wife Vena, Jamaica Tourist Board's John Lynch, deputy mayor of Montego Bay Cecil Davis and his wife Patcena, socialite Rajesh Kriplani and his parents Nari and Deepa who have flown in from India for the holidays, Garfield Gourzong, model of the year 2007, Renae Ellis, Supreme Venture's Brian Brown, CPJ's Devon Reid, Minister of Water and Housing Horace Chang and his wife Paulette, Scotiabank's Phillip Reid, ACP Denver Frater and many others.
Caught on camera are the president of the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce Lloyd B. Smith and CEO of Dream Castle Villas Gwendolyn Williams.
All work and no play would make caterers Aretha Ruddock (left) and Nelletea Williams dull girls, so they made sure to enjoy the music too!
Wearing this gorgeous dress, the social lens could not resist Karen Burgess. Neither could Patrick McGann (left) or Garfield Gourzong.
A grand idea for the New Year perhaps? We can't be sure but whatever Fred Smith (left), was discussing, he had the undivided attention of Andrea Yeates and her husband Dr. Curtis Yeates.
The party mood eveloped the special Christmas party hosted in appreciation of members of the Monday Club last Friday in Montego Bay. Pictured here are (from left) Lachu Ramchandani, Michelle Daswani, Bina Ramchandani and Saju Jaswani.
