With all of life's struggles weighing you down, there's one way to feel better - party!
So last Thursday, those who try to keep us safe at the Ministry of National Security, called out their friends and colleagues to party with them at Curphey Place in Swallowfield, St Andrew.
If there were ever a time when the phrase, dressed to the nines, were appropriate, this party was it, as the ladies left the men feeling warm for the season with their eye-catching outfits
Cyclical course
The DJ took a cyclical course to get the guests dancing somewhere about 9:30 p.m. The soca segment seemed to get some guests interested in getting down.
Then the disco/dance got their reluctant hips moving. Finally the lovers' rock coaxed most of them on to the floor before it was back to some soca.
The music now totally infused into their brains, guests soon packed the dance floor.
Apart from the dancers and those frolicking by the bar (with the bartenders working overtime), there still seemed to be a never-ending queue for the tasty food
That's just an indication of the crowd size as it seemed every inch of the venue was in use.
Guests out included Marcia Forbes, Gillian Haughton, Roger Hutchinson, Liz Levy, Dr Douglas McDonald, Tanny Shirley, Dara Smith, Damien Phillips, Elon Parkinson, Rohan Powell, Fern Whyte (who was also celebrating her birthday), Andre Hylton, Kerlyn Brown, Keriann Lee and Michael Pryce.
Kymone Dunbar (left) and Nashauna Deacon are just two of the hot ladies who turned out for the Ministry of National Security's Christmas party.
Former permanent secretary in the Ministry of National Security, Gilbert Scott, and fiancée, Annmarie Anglin, enjoy the music.
Minister of National Security Colonel Trevor MacMillan makes sure Aileen Stephens, deputy commissioner of corrections, is okay at the party.
