More tributes to Hartley Neita
The Editor, Sir:

I would like to send my condolences to Hartley Neita's family and friends. I was an avid reader of his column and always looked forward to his tales of old Jamaica. I will miss his weekly tales of 'times gone by' in the old Jamaica which were always so fascinating.

I left Jamaica a long time ago and was not Hartley's age but I remember well some of the things he described which, as children, we enjoyed so much.

Sad to say, this was when Jamaica was a much gentler place. I shall miss his weekly column. A piece of Jamaican history has sadly gone.

I am, etc.,
