SVL 2-y-o stakes
Fourteen entries have been received for the $3.5-million Supreme Ventures Jamaica Two-Year-Old Stakes to be run over 1600 metres on Boxing Day, Friday, December 26, at Caymanas Park.

Among the hopefuls are MISS RUTH and BRUCEONTHE-LOOSE, respective winners of the first two races in the series, MY SPACE, FABULOUSCONNECTION and WESTERN REPORT.

This marks the third race in the $9.5 million Supreme Ventures two-year-old series which commenced on October 18 with the $2.5 million Cash Pot 'Only One For Me' Trophy over 1200 metres won by the front running MISS RUTH ahead of BRUCEONTHE-LOOSE. The series continued on November 29 with the $3 million Pick3 Super Challenge Trophy over 1400 metres which saw the Philip Feanny-trained BRUCEONTHE-LOOSE, under leading all-time jockey Winston Griffiths, turning the tables on Percy Hussey's MISS RUTH in a driving finish.

With different horses having won the first two races in the series, the million-dollar bonus is no longer applicable.
