Fund-raiser for a good cause

The Jamaica Business Council on HIV/AIDS (JaBCHA) and National AIDS Committee, partnered to host gala World AIDS Day fund-raising dinner recently.

Patron Lorna Golding, wife of Prime Minister Bruce Golding, and guest speaker Minister of Tourism Edmund Bartlett made the point that HIV is a risk to businesses and the productivity of the nation. Guardian Life Ltd, Carrearas Ltd and Sagicor Life Ltd presented charter member cheques while existing charter partners LIME and National Commercial Bank Foundation also made donations.
