The Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts spread the joy on Sunday December 7, at its third annual carol service.

The service was held in the school's auditorium and included performances from students, lecturers and alumni from the schools of dance, drama, music and visual arts. While the School of Visual Arts added the Christmas touch with a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, the culmination of sound and movement created a delightful festive celebration to end the school year.

Tremendous range

If the college's choir failed to make its mark in last year's service, they certainly did this time around. Coached by voice lecturer Lori Johnson Bernett, the choir maintained tremendous range and solid harmony that had many listeners singing along. There were other great performances from the School of Drama students and the college's wind ensemble, some of whom were playing the instruments for the first time.
