Bauxite contracts
THE EDITOR, Sir:

I need to find out if Prime Minister Bruce Golding has in fact renegotiated the forward sale agreement with Glencore.

Because if he jumped and did anything that relieved Glencore of their obligation to take alumina in what now is a very soft market, then that may be the nail in CAP's coffin.

Also I need to know what are the fortunes of CAP likely to be with oil at a remarkable US$43 per barrel low.

Golding was extremely critical of the wisdom and perspicacity of the former administration in coining this Glencore agreement on his national syndicated radio broadcast (international due to the web).

A few month ago he thought termites had eaten away at some persons brains. I need more information as my children and I will be the ones to pay back monies lost by CAP.

However, if this Glencore agreement turns out to be CAP's lifeline, he needs to be equally forthright in apologising to the world.
