George Clooney loves being propositioned by male blonde strippers, claims Brad Pitt.

Pitt, who became close friends with the legendary womaniser after the pair starred in several movies together, insists Clooney has a soft spot for hunky Chippendales dancers.

When TV talk show host Ellen DeGeneres asked Pitt how to woo Clooney, Pitt replied: "Get a bunch of Chippendales. He's yours. Three, four - no less than three. Make one a blonde."

Earlier in the show, DeGeneres revealed she has been trying to convince Clooney to appear on her popular TV series since her studio moved next to the Burn After Reading star's office.

She told Pitt in the interview: "We've tried everything with our 'Catch Clooney' project. We've sent Victoria's Secret models over. We've sent Miss America over. We've sent Kate Hudson over. We've sent gifts. We decorated his bungalow for Halloween. I don't know what more we can do."

Clooney, 47, has previously been romantically linked to a string of beautiful women including Renee Zellweger, Salma Hayek, Julia Roberts, Lucy Liu, Lisa Snowdon and Sarah Larson.
