Sweet day with Baileys

Customers at MegaMart's Upper Waterloo Road branch had an extra reason to drop by on Thursday.

They would have noticed the little tent area near the main entrance, and if they just stepped inside they would be transported to a world of supreme comfort: a bar serving Baileys, a spa area for massages, and some delightful accessories at special prices.

It's all part of Baileys' Listen To Your Lips promotion celebrating the great Irish cream's genesis (and its sensual appeal). In conjunction with participating spas, the team has been giving away spa discounts to purchasers of Baileys' 750 ml bottle and samplings of the liqueur.

Baileys team members first stopped at the original MegaMart in Portmore and will be trodding around to other supermarkets and big retailers across Jamaica. The promotion ends on December 31.

But what made Thursday's stopover more 'spirited' was that it was the exact date Baileys was born! So there was an extra special treat awaiting all those who stopped by the booth: a seductively sweet Selena Wong-prepared cake with Baileys as an integral ingredient!

Curious shoppers strolled by, enquiring what all the hubbub was about. Most gleefully took their discounts while a few brave ones went all the way, getting massages from Jencare Skin Farm.
